Clubs

Air Force ROTC cadets still get the full college experience. As a cadet, you will be free to participate in any variety of athletics, clubs, and organizations. Below are two extracurricular opportunities many of our cadets enjoy.

Get involved

The Billy Mitchell Drill Team

Established in 1951 and sponsored by the University of Florida, the Billy Mitchell Drill Team (BMDT) is dedicated to drill, ceremony and color guard excellence. Rich in heritage and discipline, BMDT cultivates leadership and followership skills in all of its members. BMDT competes in an annual nationwide drill meet in New Orleans where they placed 4th in 2013 and 3rd in 2012. Regardless of ROTC-affiliation, full time students at the University of Florida or Santa Fe College may pursue candidacy with BMDT during each Fall semester.

The Arnold Air Society

The Arnold Air Society (AAS) is a professional, honorary service organization advocating the support of Aerospace power. The "service" aspect is perhaps the foremost in the mind of many members, because of the society's continuing contributions to our campus and our community. Their primary mission, however, is to improve as future Air Force officers. AAS conducts its candidacy during each Spring semester and is ONLY open to Air Force ROTC Cadets.
